Our History

Faith Bible Church began as a home Bible study out of Grace Immanuel Bible Church in Jupiter, FL. As the Bible study grew and the needs of the group became increasingly clear, the Lord was at work. In the fall of 2023, the elders decided it was appropriate to plant a new ministry in Port St. Lucie. The elders asked Brandon Taylor, a recent seminary graduate from The Expositor’s Seminary, if he wanted to lead the church plant endeavor. Brandon accepted this gracious offer by the elders. For the next several months, Brandon finished up his ordination for ministry at Grace Immanuel and began to strategize about the launch of the church plant.

After several months of searching for a place to meet as a church, the Lord graciously opened the opportunity to meet at Northport K-8 school. Since 2024, the Lord has been kind to build the strength of the ministry around a reverent corporate worship experience, the shepherding of God’s people, rich fellowship, and a commitment to serve one another in the body of Christ.

Our Values

We are committed to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and living it out faithfully in our lives and in our world. We are passionate about God receiving the glory due to His name and people coming to know Him through faith in Christ.

Our Beliefs

The Bible

WE BELIEVE the Bible is God’s written revelation to man. It is verbally inspired in every word, absolutely inerrant in the original documents. We affirm the infallibility, sufficiency, and authority of Scripture.

The Trinity

WE BELIEVE that there is but one living and true God, an infinite, all-knowing Spirit, perfect in all His attributes, one in essence, eternally existing in three Persons – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – each equally deserving worship and obedience.

Jesus

WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

Salvation

WE BELIEVE that the salvation of man, who is sinful and lost, is instantaneous and accomplished solely by the power of the Holy Spirit. He accomplishes this through the instrumentality of the Word of God when the repentant sinner – enabled by the Holy Spirit – responds in faith. This salvation is wholly of God by grace on the basis of the redeeming work of Jesus Christ, the merit of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works. All the redeemed are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever.

Holy Spirit

WE BELIEVE in the Spirit-filled life. As the supernatural and sovereign Agent in regeneration, the Holy Spirit baptizes all believers into the body of Christ at the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit also indwells, sanctifies, instructs and empowers them for service, and seals them unto the day of redemption.

The Church

WE BELIEVE that all who put their faith in Jesus Christ are immediately placed by the Holy Spirit into one united spiritual Body, the church, of which Christ is the head. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by building its members up in faith, by instruction of the word, by fellowship, by keeping the ordinances, and by advancing and communicating the gospel to the entire world. The formation of the church, the body of Christ, began on the day of Pentecost and will be completed at the coming of Christ for His own at the rapture.

Resurrection

WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the unsaved unto the resurrection of eternal damnation.

Brandon Taylor

Lead Pastor

Read Bio

Brandon was redeemed from a life in pursuit of sin and called to follow Christ in his early 30’s. Upon conversion, he had a tremendous burden for the lost souls who do not know Christ. The Lord used this passion for evangelism over time to become a burden for shepherding the sheep.

Brandon met his wife, Lisa, while in seminary training and they have four young children: Aila, Audrey, Mason, and Alexander. Brandon graduated from The Expositor’s Seminary with a Master of Divinity in May of 2023 and completed his ordination for gospel ministry later that year. He previously served at Grace Immanuel Bible Church as the Pastor for Junior High students and families.

Jose was born in the Bronx, NY, and at the age of 8 his family moved to Haverstraw, NY. There he first met his wife to be, Erika. Jose and Erika both went to college at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT where he graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2002. After relocating to Phoenix, AZ for 5 years, where they first heard the gospel, they moved to Palm Beach County, FL in 2009. The LORD led them to Grace Immanuel Bible Church where his family was ministered to faithfully. In 2011, John MacArthur was preaching at GIBC about the rich young ruler and the Lord convicted Jose of sin, he repented, and was saved by the grace of God. It was shortly after that time that the LORD put being trained for ministry on Jose’s heart.

In 2016, he started seminary. In 2023, he graduated from The Expositors Seminary with a Master of Divinity. Jose, Erika, and their four children (Madison, Sophia, Derek, and Giana) live in Port St Lucie, FL where they have been praying for a faithful church to be planted.
